Description

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine yeast, warm water, and sugar. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Add salt, Greek yogurt, and half of the flour. Mix.
  3. Gradually add the remaining flour until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Punch down the dough and shape into rolls.
  8. Place rolls on a baking sheet.
  9. Brush with melted butter.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
