A delicious and easy Creamy Italian Sausage Rigatoni recipe.

- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pound rigatoni pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Brown sausage in a large skillet. Remove sausage and set aside.
- Add onion to the skillet and cook until softened. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Return sausage to the skillet.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to combine.
- Garnish with fresh basil.

- You can use sweet or hot Italian sausage.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms.
- For a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes.
