Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Optional: Ketchup for glaze


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, egg, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well with your hands.
  4. Add onion and olive oil, mix.
  5. Shape the mixture into a loaf.
  6. Place in a baking dish.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until cooked through (internal temp 160°F/71°C).
  8. Optional: Brush with ketchup during the last 15 minutes.
  9. Let it rest 10 minutes before slicing.
